![]() ![]() ![]() I have to say though this is one of the most action packed books I’ve ever read and it delivers the action extremely well, it’s a visual treat for the imagination. Sanderson though he tries does not have this inherent quality which means I find myself rereading a lot, only to discover that place is a person & vice versa. Some of you are probably rolling your eyes but seriously it is annoying, when authors overuse this because Tolkien was a philologist & had a way of structuring the rhythm of the text so you knew what was a place, a person, an object or a title. My number one pet peeve with Sanderson persists, and that is how he overuses what I call fantasy naming. However I did have problems with this book and the series as a whole. Review: Mistborn Bk1 I really enjoyed, Bk 2 won me over and for the most part I liked Bk 3. ![]()
